Where It All Started

Like many people, I grew up with coloring books scattered around the house — animals, princesses, dinosaurs, and holiday themes that kept me entertained for hours. Those quiet moments with crayons and paper were some of the simplest but happiest parts of my childhood.
As I grew older, life became more complicated and more digital.
But whenever I saw a child coloring, or a parent printing out simple activities, a warm memory always resurfaced. Coloring is universal — it brings joy, calmness, and creativity, no matter your age.

A Small Idea That Grew Bigger

In 2024, while exploring AI tools and digital creativity, I had a thought:
“What if anyone could instantly turn their imagination into a coloring page?”
Not limited by books.
Not limited by what’s available in stores.
Not limited by drawing skills.
Just pure creativity — generated from your ideas.
That idea stayed with me for months.
I kept thinking about:
  • Parents needing quick activities for their kids
  • Teachers wanting custom worksheets
  • Adults using coloring for mindfulness
  • Kids simply wanting something fun and new
So I began building a simple demo.
It wasn’t perfect — far from it — but when I saw the first AI coloring page appear on the screen, something clicked.
This could help people.
This could bring joy.
This could be bigger than just a test.

Why I Created Gencoloring.com

I created this website with one purpose:

To make creativity available to everyone — instantly, freely, and endlessly.

Coloring brings people together.
It calms the mind.

But not everyone can draw.

Not everyone has the time to search through hundreds of sites.
With AI, I wanted to remove those limits.
I wanted to create a place where:

And all of it available with just a simple prompt.

The Journey Behind the Scenes

Building Gencoloring.com wasn’t easy.
I spent countless nights:
  • Testing AI models
  • Cleaning line art
  • Ensuring the site is kid-friendly
  • Improving the generator
  • Crafting better tools
  • Designing a clean and joyful interface
There were bugs, failed models, confusing outputs — and moments I felt like giving up.
But every time someone used the tool and smiled…
It was all worth it.
